You’ve heard me say, “People don’t care how much you know until they first see how much you care.”  I was reflecting on this and thought that goes with sharing with others.  We have the example of Jesus and the woman at the well in John 4.  My application:

 

• Stop!  Look!  Listen!  Follow the Spirit’s leading.

• Hug!  Hush!  Help!  Hang!  —with the grieving.

• Avoid saying

  • I know how you feel.

  • You have a lot to be thankful for.

  • It could be worse.

  • God doesn’t give you more than you can handle.

  • You should/shouldn’t…

 

I’m asking the Lord to open doors and open my eyes to see His leading and be a turtle and stick my neck out.  Keep reaching out to others.  There is no shortage of hurting people.  If you have a prayer request or praise you want me to pass along, let me know.
